Cinnamon, Indian Eatery & Bar is a hidden gem that brings authentic Indian flavours to life in a warm and stylish setting. We celebrated our father’s 85th birthday here and the dining experience was amazing. A special mention to Ankit, the manager, whose friendly and professional service truly elevated the dining experience. He took genuine care in ensuring guests felt welcome and looked after, and his knowledge of the menu is incredibly helpful if you’re unsure what to try. We tried Lamb Sheekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka, Dam Ka Chicken, Keema Mutton and they all were flavoursome. My niece and I enjoyed a cup of their Masala Chai, and it was the perfect finish – fragrant, warming, and made just the way chai should be. Highly recommended.

This is the best Indian restaurant we have been to. The meals are delicious, the portions are amazing, this restaurant is great value for money. Try the appertisers they are phenomenal!

Enjoyed a great dinner here on a Friday night. The menu was extensive and the dishes we ordered were excellent, well prepared and presented. Food was well priced and the service was attentive. The interior design is good, and lighting subdued. The restaurant is compact and was busy so noisier than I would have liked. It is part of the established commercial and retail precinct at 75 Hingaia Road, so there is plenty of off street parking.

A truly memorable experience at Cinnamon! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and a beautifully inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was both cozy and sophisticated, perfect for a relaxing evening or a special occasion. The food was absolutely phenomenal — every dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. The butter chicken and garlic naan were standout favourites, and the vegetarian options were just as rich and satisfying. You can really taste the authenticity and care in every bite. What truly impressed us was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. We mentioned — very last minute — that we were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and they quickly arranged a delicious cake without any fuss. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the night even more special. Cinnamon has won us over completely. Amazing food, top-tier service, and a team that genuinely goes the extra mile. Highly recommend for any occasion!

We had takeout and the butter chicken was exactly how I like it, not too sweet and not too tomatoey either, it was perfect. The vindaloo was okay but I’ve had better and the biryani was really good. The garlic naan however, didn’t taste fresh even though we did have to wait a while for our order. There wasn’t much of a garlic taste either, it was hard and stale unfortunately. I did bring a heat bag with me so everything could stay fresh so it wasn’t a case of it being “takeout”. I would still go back but hopefully it’s better next time.

First time visiting the restaurant, and I really enjoyed the food. I ordered butter naan and garlic naan, both were served hot and were soft. The prawn fried rice tasted amazing. The curries come with a small bowl of plain rice. The Dam Ka Chicken was good, and I also ordered the lamb, which was absolutely delicious (5 stars for this dish!). I did not like the Butter Chicken, it was too sweet for my taste and seemed to be made in a Kiwi style. For drinks, the mango lassi was good (a healthy option for kids), and the lemonade was refreshing as well.
